Pre-Care

  • Extended sun exposure should be avoided, for at least 10 days prior to treatment

  • It is recommended to delay use of tretinoin, Retin-A®, Renova®, Differin®, Tazorac®, Avage®, EpiDuo™, Ziana® and high-percentage AHA and BHA products for approximately 5 days prior to treatment. Consult your PCP before temporarily discontinuing use of any prescription medications.

  • You are not a candidate if you are pregnant or breastfeeding

Post-Care

FOR 7 DAYS POST TREATMENT

  • Avoid direct heat including, hot water, hair dryer, steam, and prolonged sun exposure

  • Do not go swimming

  • Do not participate in activities that would cause excessive perspiration. Heating internally can cause hyperpigmentation.

  • Do not exfoliate the treated area

  • Do not apply ice or ice water to the treated area

  • Treatments may cause slight redness, tightness, peeling, flaking or temporary dryness

  • Makeup should not be applied as it is ideal to allow the skin to stabilize and rest. A mineral sunscreen is recommended to protect the skin.

  • Follow directions in post-care kit for product use

  • It is recommended to delay use of tretinoin, Retin-A®, Differin®, Renova®, Tazorac®, Avage® EpiDuo™ or Ziana for 7-10 days.

  • *Consult your PCP before temporarily discontinuing use of any prescription medications.

  • Do not pick or pull on any loosening or peeling skin. This could potentially cause hyperpigmentation.

  • Do not have electrolysis, facial waxing or use depilatories

  • Do not have another treatment until your clinician advises you it is safe to do so
